You are paddling through the breathtaking canyon with the rough current of the river—lovely scenery of the forest area while paddling and fresh air against your face.



Program duration: 8:00 am -5:00 pm

Pick up from the hotel in Chiang Mai City by the Air-Conditioning van to the Mae Tang area. Before paddling through the breathtaking canyon, learn brief instructions on paddling and safety rules. Then you are ready to start!!! Then, get your life jackets and helmets, then join the professional team for an exciting White Water Rafting on the Mae Tang River. Experience a unique and unforgettable adventure through the winding gorges, luscious forest and fantastic step rice fields. You now have a chance to enjoy the exciting white water rafting downstream, which many guests agree is one of the very best in Asia. After finishing the trip, refresh yourself before heading to Chiang Mai Bautong Sticky Waterfall to enjoy walking and climbing the Chiang Mai Bautong sticky waterfall from below to the top. The waterfall is made from natural limestone, so you can walk and climb easily to the top and enjoy the clear water of the waterfall to cool down. Then you are heading back to the hotel in Chiang Mai. On the way back, free transfer to Tiger Kingdom.

Weather tips

November – February

During the winter in Thailand, from November to February, the temperature ranges from 5-12 degrees Celsius / 41-54 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential to come prepared with appropriate clothing to stay warm. This period is considered the best time for travelling in Thailand due to the lovely and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation, which makes the biodiversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.


From March to May, it is summertime, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius (82 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit). The hottest time of the year is in April when temperatures reach as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit), and it is recommended to bring light and thin clothing, as well as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion.

June – October

This is the rainy season, with temperatures ranging between 18 – 25 degrees Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or raincoat is recommended, and sandals or waterproof shoes are the best footwear options during these months.
