The Highlights of the trip

The combination of the trip is that you could enjoy the elephant experience being the elephant keeper and be friends with them. See the great Lady’s lone neck with 5 kilograms on her neck. Climbing the limestone-sticky waterfall with clear water. Spend overnight in the Tree House, hide away from the busy big city and sleep in the peaceful forest. Explore Chiang Dao cave, which once was the resting area for the Burmese before they attacked Chiang Mai in the old days. Visit Mae Ngad Dam in Sri Lanna National Park and enjoy the long-tail boat ride and fun water activity.



Day 1 Elephant Sanctuary + Long Neck Village + Sticky Waterfall + Overnight in Chiang Dao.

Pick up from your hotel at 8.30 am. You will head north of Chiang Mai to the Mae Tang area for you to meet your Elephants and learn to gain your understanding with this big and gentle animal. After arrival at the elephant camp, get changed into the mahout costume for you to learn and do the activity. Then, feed your elephants and make friends. Then hand on to look after your big and gentle friends. Take a walk with your elephants to the river to bathe them in the river. After that, have lunch, And then visit the Long Neck village and see the incredible length of the necks, which could be 26 rings on the Lady’s shoulders—then head to Bautong sticky waterfall for you to enjoy walking and climbing the waterfall from below to the top. The waterfall is made from natural limestone, so you can walk and climb easily to the top and enjoy the clear water of the waterfall to cool down. You will head to the accommodation in Chiang Dao Area to rest in Nature.

Overnight at Chiang Dao: Treehouse Chiang Dao, Chiang Dao Area.

Meal:  Lunch / Dinner.


Day 2 Chiang Dao Cave temple + Mae Ngad Dam, Si Lanna National Park + Floating House activity + Swimming & Kayaking in the Nature + Chiang Mai.

 Wake up in the big hug of the Chiang Dao Mountain area, have breakfast, check out from the Tree House, and then visit Chiang Dao Cave, where the soldiers in the old days rested before moving the troops to other places. See the stalagmite and stalactite in different shapes and forms. Then head to Mae Ngad Dam in Sri Lanna National Park, Mae Tang Area, taking the long tail boat for about 45 minutes to the Floating House in the middle of the dam for lunch and relaxing in the lovely atmosphere. You could enjoy swimming, Kayaking and playing with fun activity equipment like the big dam. Afterwards, head back to the mainland by long-tail boat and continue the trip back to Chiang Mai.

On the way, we could free transfer to the Tiger Kingdom. However, if you prefer to play with the tigers in the cages, all the ticket entrance fees would be your expenses on the spot. The guide and driver could wait for you and transfer you back to the hotel in Chiang Mai.

Weather tips

November – February

During the winter in Thailand, from November to February, the temperature ranges from 5-12 degrees Celsius / 41-54 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential to come prepared with appropriate clothing to stay warm. This period is considered the best time for travelling in Thailand due to the lovely and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation, which makes the biodiversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.


From March to May, it is summertime, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius (82 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit). The hottest time of the year is in April when temperatures reach as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit), and it is recommended to bring light and thin clothing, as well as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion.

June – October

This is the rainy season, with temperatures ranging between 18 – 25 degrees Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or raincoat is recommended, and sandals or waterproof shoes are the best footwear options during these months.
