Program duration: Daily 08:30 am – 5:00 pm.

Pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am. And you are heading north of Chiang Mai to the Maetang area to meet your elephants and learn to gain your understanding with this big and gentle animal. After arrival at the elephant camp, get changed into the elephant care keeper costume, prepared for you to learn and do the activity. Then, feed your elephants and make friends. Then hand on to look after your big and gentle friends. Take them for a walk in the forest and bring them to the river for you to bathe them in the river. After that, having lunch, visit the Long Neck village, and see the incredible length of the necks, which could be 26 rings on the lady’s shoulders. Then visit Baan Den temple, “Den Sali Sri Muang Gan Temple”, the teak wood temple with beautiful Thai architecture and the stunning sculpture related to the elephant guardians. Then head to Chiang Mai Bautong sticky waterfall to enjoy walking and climbing the Chiangmai Sticky Waterfall from below to the top. The waterfall is made from natural limestone, so you can walk and climb easily to the top and enjoy the clear water of the waterfall to cool down. You are then returning to the hotel in Chiang Mai safe and sound.

Weather tips

November – February.

During the Winter in Thailand, which runs from November to February, the temperature ranges from 5-12 degrees Celsius / 41-54 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential to come prepared with appropriate clothing to stay warm. This period is considered the best time for travelling in Thailand due to the lovely and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation, which makes the biodiversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.


From March to May, it is summertime, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius (82 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit). The hottest time of the year is in April when temperatures reach as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit), and we recommend you bring light and thin clothing and a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion.

June – October

These months are the rainy season, with temperatures ranging between 18 – 25 degrees Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or raincoat is recommended, and sandals or waterproof shoes are the best footwear options during these months.
