Itinerary and Activities

Program duration: Daily 08:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Pick up from your hotel at 8.00 am and head north of Chiang Mai to Mae Ngad Dam in Sri Lanna National Park. Mae Ngad Dam was first built in 1977 AD. as the biggest earth-fill dam in Chiang Mai. It took nine years to finish. The dam has a maximum storage capacity of 265,00,000 m3 Board on the longtail boat to the floating house in the middle of the dam. Enjoy Swimming in the dam, kayaking in the lake area if you prefer. You might be lucky to see a monkey or beautiful Kingfishers jumping from the slide, Water biking and more as you like. Fill your holiday with stunning surroundings of the nature of the dam before taking the longtail boat back to the mainland. Then have lunch in the floating restaurant with local Thai food and relax in the atmosphere as in the middle of nowhere. After lunch, visit Bautong Sticky Waterfall, known as Sticky Waterfall, by the visitors. As the name of the waterfall, sticky means sticky. You could walk and climb barefoot from the bottom of the waterfall to the top! The natural waterfall is created of natural limestone, which gives clear crystal water in the atmosphere of the forest in the shady trees, which is good for you to feel relaxed and peaceful. After the sticky waterfall, we will return to Chiang Mai.

Remark: On the way back, we will pass the Tiger Kingdom. If you prefer to stop by, please inform the guide. The guide and the driver could wait for you for the transfer back to the hotel. However, all entrance fee tickets would be your own expense on the spot.

Weather tips

November – February

During the Winter in Thailand, which runs from November to February, the temperature ranges from 5-12 degrees Celsius / 41-54 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential to come prepared with appropriate clothing to stay warm. This period is considered the best time for travelling in Thailand due to the lovely and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation, which makes the biodiversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.


From March to May, it is summertime, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius (82 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit). The hottest time of the year is in April when temperatures reach as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit), and it is recommended to bring light and thin clothing, as well as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion.

June – October

This is the rainy season, with temperatures ranging between 18 – 25 degrees Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or raincoat is recommended, and sandals or waterproof shoes are the best footwear options during these months.
