Itinerary

 Day 1 Bangkok visit Bang Pa-In Palace, Mahathat Temple, Boat around Ayutthaya island, Hup Pa Tard, and Uthaitahni.

Pick-up: at 7 a.m. at your hotel lobby.

Pick up from your hotel in Bangkok and head to Ayutthaya, which once was the glorious capital. Stop by Pang Pa In. The Summer Palace was first built in 1632. The Thai Kings formerly used it in the old days. As seen in the present, all buildings were constructed between 1872 and 1899 by King Rama 5th of Thailand. The area has many facilities with one architect for you to take photos of. After the Summer Place, Pang Pa In visited the Mahathat Temple, built in 1374 by King Boramma Rachthirat, to enshrine the Lord Buddha’s Relics. The highlight is the Buddha’s head covered with tree roots, one of the famous pictures on the Thai postcard. After Mahathat Temple, head for lunch in the local restaurant. After lunch, boarding on a boat to go around Ayutthaya island ( Due to Ayutthaya is a small island with a river surrounded) for you to enjoy the view and the local life of the local people due to the river is not too busy in Bangkok ) Then head to Uthaithani province and visit to Hup Pa Tard for you to enjoy the excellent unseen environment in the old forest area which is hidden inside the cave area. Walking through the mysterious cave to the unseen world. After heading to the hotel in Uthaithani province and checking in, spend your leisure time and relax.

 Day 2 Visit Sa-Kae Krung Temple, Pra Buddha Chinnaraj, Phitsanuloke + Folk Museum, Buddha Foundry, Biking trip in Sukhothai Historical Park, Sri Chum Temple, and Sukhothai.

Check out from the hotel in Uthaithani and head to Sukhothai. On the way, stop by Sa-Kae Krung temple, the symbol of Uthaithani. Located on the top hill, we could see the lovely view of Uthaithani town, the hometown of King Rama 1st of Thailand and Thailand as present. Then, heading to Phisanuloke, visit Pra Buddha Chinnaraj ( The King of Victory), Thailand’s most beautiful Buddha Image. Then, visit the Folk Museum (Sgt.Maj.Thawee Folk Museum, Phitsanulok). See the collection of the daily used tools, toys, and many things in the old days which now we hardly see. After the museum, visit the Buddha image foundry, which produces Buddha images from Brass and Bronze. See the method of making the Buddha images in different sizes step by step until they become the most beautiful Buddha images.

Lunch in the local restaurant. You are then heading to Sukhothai ( The Dawn of Happiness), where you can enjoy the lovely site of Sukhothai Historical Park. After arrival, get a bike for you because the historic park is a big area. Visit the historical park at Wat Prahathat, Wat Prapai Luang, Wat Trapang Ngoen, and more. However, the highlight of the biking trip is still ahead. Bike the historical park to meet the enormous sitting Buddha, Pra Atjana. Known by the locals as the talking Buddha, you would know how he could speak after seeing him yourself. This is also the photo challenge for you to take a picture of him. Due to he is big Buddha image, you could see only him in the building as we had informed that he is enormous and only he fits in the whole building.

 Day 3 Visit Sri Satchanalai Historic Site, The Biggest reclining Buddha image in Thai & Burmese design at Suthon Mongkolkiri Temple, Lampang Horse Carriage, Baan Ta local Market, and Chiang Mai.

Check out from Sukhothai to Chiang Mai. Before leaving the Dawn of Happiness, Sukhothai, stop by Srisatchanalai, the old historical site for the king and the senior building site. See the beautiful ancient architecture, buildings, and the old chedis spread in the old historic area. After that, head to Lampang Province; on the way, you will visit the enormous reclining Buddha in Thai and Burmese design, called Phra Suthon Momngkol Kiri. The temple was built in 1974Ad—the 30 spires of the beautiful pagoda are an elaborate Thai art design. Then, after arrival in Lampang province, you could enjoy the horse carriage in the Lampang city area, where the Emerald Buddha stopped by and placed here for four years before putting in Chiang Mai ( 73 years). Then, to Laos and now in Thailand from 1784, Ad. The Emerald Buddha is now in Bangkok’s Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew. Then, visit the local Market called Baan Ta Market or Kard Ban Ta. where the locals have some jungle veggies and things for sale. You would be amazed by the local food you have never seen and the price you couldn’t find in the best supermarkets. Try some of them if you prefer, as well. Then head to Chiang Mai to your hotel with safe and sound.

What should you bring on the trip?

  • Swimming suit or trunk for swimming in the Waterfall, raingear, and a passport picture.

Weather tips

November – February

During the winter in Thailand, from November to February, the temperature ranges from 5-12 degrees Celsius / 41-54 degrees Fahrenheit. It is essential to come prepared with appropriate clothing to stay warm. This period is considered the best time for travelling in Thailand due to the lovely and cool weather. The landscape is covered with blooming flowers and lush vegetation, which makes the biodiversity of birds and wildlife plentiful.

March-May

From March to May, it is summertime, with temperatures ranging from 28 to 33 degrees Celsius (82 to 91 degrees Fahrenheit). The hottest time of the year is in April, when temperatures reach as high as 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit). It is recommended to bring light and thin clothing, as well as a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

June – October

This is the rainy season, with temperatures ranging between 18 – 25 degrees Celsius / 64 -77 degrees Fahrenheit. An umbrella or raincoat is recommended, and sandals or waterproof shoes are the best footwear options during these months.
