The city has been the capital city of Thailand for more than 400 years; you will see its glorious past through great temples and the old royal palace.

Tour Itinerary

6.15-7.00 Pickup from your hotel or meeting point in the following areas: Khaosan, Silom, Sathorn, Sukhumvit (Soi 1-24), Asoke, Pratunam.
7.30 Depart from Bangkok to Ayutthaya.
9.10 Visit Wat Phu Khao Thong and climb onto the famous 50-meter-high Chedi to see the surrounding rice fields and the town of Ayutthaya. Then, visit Wat Lokaya Sutha and pray to the 42-meter-long reclining Buddha. Next, we will bring you to Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, built by King U-Thong in 1357 AD, one of the oldest and most important temples, Ayutthaya. Before lunch, we will visit Wat Mahathat, renowned for the Buddha head in tree roots.
12.00 Lunch, having Thai Food at a local restaurant.
13.00 Visit Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, the holiest temple on the old Royal Place of Ayutthaya site.

Visit Bang Pa-In Royal Palace (Summer Palace) , King Parat Thong constructed the original complex in 1632, and it has been restored and maintained by Thai Kings until today.

The place remains mainly open to visitors, and the former King Bhumibol Adulyadej and his family rarely use it for banquets and special occasions.

15.20 Depart from Ayutthaya to Bangkok
16.50 Group Tour: Send you back to Khaosan Road or MRT Sam Yot Only. (Khao San Road is a famous destination for backpackers.)

Important Note: Bang Pa-In Royal Palace is still the royal family’s place. You must honour the site by dressing in a casual dress code (or better): no flipper shoes, No tank top, No short pants.
